Rent a kayak from one of these local businesses and enjoy a day exploring Budd Bay Inlet and the many local marinas around downtown Olympia. Take in views of the city and majestic Olympic Mountain range while getting some sunshine and exercise. If you care to venture further out, many local parks have boat launch areas to explore even more areas of South Puget Sound.

After a day spent on the water, stop at one of downtown Olympia’s many waterfront restaurants for a summer alfresco meal.

Proximity to Nature and Wildlife

Harbor Heights residents can spot many species of water birds from their residence windows or our beautiful Sky Terrace. Along the waterfront in Budd Inlet, it’s not uncommon to spot seals, especially during the fall salmon spawning season.

Olympia Harbor Days Festival

The Olympia Harbor Days festival returns this year with traditional tugboat races, cultural performances and activities, an arts and crafts fair, food vendors, an electric car show, and more. Take part in three days of fun in downtown Olympia with all activities within walking distance from our building. While you are there, please stop by and see us!
